Instructions
Prepare the Chicken;
-
You can skip the marination process.
-
- In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes for enhanced flavor.
Cook the Chicken;
-
- In a skillet, heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
-
- Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken strips to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender, stirring occasionally. Make sure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 75°C (165°F). Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare the Avocado Dip;
-
- In a blender or food processor, add the avocado, garlic cloves, fresh coriander, yogurt, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Assemble & Serve the Wraps;
-
-
- Take a wrap (or your preferred wrap) and lay it flat on a clean surface.
-
- Layer the wrap with a generous amount of shredded lettuce, sliced onions, and the cooked chicken strips.
-
- Drizzle some of the avocado dip over the chicken and other fillings.
-
- Carefully fold the sides of the wrap inward and then roll from the bottom up to enclose the filling. Make sure it's wrapped tightly.
-
- Cut the wrap in half if desired, and serve it with the remaining avocado dip on the side for dipping.
